WarningSum:...A Flash Flood Warning Remains In Effect Until 245 Am Cdt For
Northwestern Louisa...Northeastern Washington...Southwestern
Muscatine And Southeastern Johnson Counties...

Warning Message:At 1005 PM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to 
indicate an area of thunderstorms producing very heavy rain over the 
warned area. Doppler radar estimates as much as 3 to 3.5 inches
of rain has fallen from River Junction to south of Lone Tree. 
Locations in the warning include but are not limited to 
Riverside...Nichols...Lone Tree...hills and Muscatine.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches is possible from east
of Lone Tree to Fruitland.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding...especially while driving.
Flash flooding is likely on Davis Creek. In addition... significant 
rises can be expected on the Iowa river at Lone Tree with flooding 
possible. 
Do not drive on flooded roads. Most fatalities occur in vehicles
swept away in flood waters as shallow as 1 foot.
Flooding of small streams and creeks...highways and streets...
underpasses and low lying urban and rural areas is likely.
Please report any flooding or damage to your local law enforcement
agency for relay to the National Weather Service.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Iowa river at Marengo.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At  8:00 PM Friday the stage was 15.1 feet...and rising. 
* Flood stage is  14 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise to 15.9 feet Monday morning. Fall below flood stage
  Thursday morning.
* Impact...at  16 feet...water affects agricultural land along the 
  river. Water is several feet deep in places.
